Hashi

Hashi (also known as Hashiwokakero and Bridges) is a relaxing, engaging logic puzzle. Connect every island with bridges so each island has exactly as many bridges as its number.

The rules are simple:

1. Bridges run straight, horizontally or vertically, and may not cross.
2. Any two islands can be joined by at most two bridges.
3. Each island needs exactly the number of bridges shown on it.
4. All the bridges together must connect every island into one group.

Hidden behind those simple rules are some devilishly challenging puzzles. If casual puzzling is more your speed, the smaller boards satisfy the craving without tying your brain in knots.

The Daily Challenge gives you three puzzles on one clock each day and keeps your best times, so you can compete against a very worthy adversary: yourself.

Hashi has been rebuilt from the ground up for today's iPhone and iPad. Play 9×9 and 13×13 puzzles on iPhone and up to 19×19 on iPad. A short interactive tutorial teaches the rules, and you can share any puzzle with a friend.
